SPRINGFIELD, IL – May 10, 2008 – Springfield Sliders fans
will enjoy five post-game fireworks shows this summer.
On June 13th, July 11th, July 18th, and August 8th the
Sliders will present "Fireworks Fridays" courtesy of the
United Brotherhood of Carpenters & Joiners of America, Local
No. 16. Fans will enjoy an All-American Fireworks
Extravaganza courtesy of County Market on Tuesday, July 2nd.
Game times for
all "Fireworks Fridays" will be 7:05 PM with the gates
opening at 6:05 PM.
The Springfield Sliders are a member of the Central Illinois
Collegiate League, a college wood bat summer league
featuring players from across the country. The Sliders 2008
home opener is Thursday, June 5th at 7:05 PM
